other news i just signed up to visit the 9/11 memorial in NY. first available time to visit is november 2! really excited to see it, even though i know i will be crying like a baby. thank you to all those that took part on 9/11 and thank you to all those that still fight today. my thoughts are always with you and your loved ones.

i never doubt chanel. but i had great hesitation for karl lagerfeld's collaboration with macys out later this month. though the pieces don't have the same luxury as chanel, there are a few pieces that i wouldn't mind adding to my wardrobe.

other news: i just came back from walking my dog. hurricane/tropical storm irene knocked over some branches, but NY is still upright.

it's all about the dress

just moved into my new apartment this week. ah, it has been a journey. my uhaul was broken into in florence, south carolina. what did they steal? my gps and my ginger ale. what? i now have an extreme love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with ikea brooklyn.

i love nail polish. i just wish i had the talent and patience to pull off these nail masterpieces, because i always feel weird getting a manicure. i use my hands a lot, so my manicures will not last more than 24 hours.

i'm so excited with my new apartment, moving day is rapidly approaching. i'm getting really into clear furniture. at first i thought it looks very uncomfortable. but they are really starting to grow on me. super modern and clean lines.
