i am thankful for...

turkey day is around the corner! driving home tomorrow in the morning. trying to be a good daughter, i wanted to make pumpkin pie... but my attempts failed! the grocery store was COMPLETELY stocked out. crazyness! so, a pre-made lemon cake will have to do. not exactly an 'autumn' dessert... but my family is picky.

this year, i have a lot to be thankful for:
1. family and my dogs
2. wonderful bf and friends
3. sushi
4. red wine
5. everyone that reads my blog :)

i always look to stockholm streetstyle for inspiration. i was looking at some of their really old posts, and this has to be one of my favorite outfits of all time.

i went thrifting today! so much fun. didn't get much, a hunter's green poncho from england and a vintage nieman marcus sequin top. maybe i'll pair them together... pictures to come when i can find my camera cord!

so as i was trying to stuff these new finds into my closet... i sadly realized that i need to make some room. i can hardly fit into my closet anymore! (granted it is very small to begin with...) but now, i am terrified of being bombarded by piles of shoe boxes.

whenever i get married, i'm going to put "huge walk in closet" into the prenuptials.

okay, i love chanel. i love shopbop. and i love that shopbop sells vintage chanel periodically... even if my student budget does not allow me to actually indulge in these lusts... but this is crazyyyy. and crazy amazing.

so with my university cutting cutting back on their scholarships every year... my shopping fund has diminished significantly. yet, my itch to buy and buy has been worse than ever this year. particularly this last 6 months. call me patriotic.
